I Can't See Other Users' Conversations With My Shared Agent

Last updated: May 14, 2026

When an agent lives in your personal workspace and is shared via link, you cannot see other users' conversations. To get full visibility as the owner, move the agent to a team and set sharing to Use Only.

Why Can't I See Other Users' Chats?

When an agent is in your personal workspace, every user who opens the shared link chats with the agent in their own isolated context. Gumloop treats those conversations as belonging to each individual user — not to you as the agent creator. This is by design: personal workspace agents don't give the owner visibility into other people's chats.

When an agent lives in a team workspace, the owner and members with the right permissions can see all conversations across every user. That's because the agent's context is shared at the team level, not locked to one person.

How to Fix It: Move the Agent to a Team

This gives you full visibility while keeping end users' conversations private from each other.

  1. Go to the Agents page.

  2. Click the three dots (⋮) next to the agent you want to move, and select Move to Team.

  3. Choose the destination team and confirm the move.
Heads-up: Any active triggers on the agent may be deactivated after the move and will need to be re-enabled.

  4. Once the agent is in the team, click Share on the agent.

  5. Under General Access, set the role to Use Only. This means:

    • End users can chat with the agent but cannot see its configuration, instructions, tools, or skills.

    • You (as the owner) can view all users' conversations with the agent.

    • End users still only see their own chat history — not each other's.

After this change, open the agent and you'll see every user's conversation in the chat history panel.

Alternative: Export Usage Data (Enterprise)

If you don't want to move the agent — or you need historical data — enterprise organization admins can export agent interaction data.

  1. Go to Settings → Organization → Data Export.

  2. Select Agent Interactions as the export type (or Credit Logs to see credit consumption by agent).

  3. Choose a date range and the teams or personal spaces to include.

  4. Click Export. You'll receive a CSV with interaction data including user details, timestamps, and agent metadata.

Note: The data export feature requires an enterprise plan and organization admin permissions. If you're not an admin, ask your org admin to run the export for you.
